Why Join the Internet Users Association /International Internet Users Association (IUA-IIUA) ?

1. There is currently NO organization that exists solely to represent and to protect the interests of, the ordinary internet user!

2. The ISPs (Internet Service Providers) and Telcos (Telephone Companies) have their associations and organizations to protect their interests (economic primarily).

3. Webmasters and Webspace providers have their associations.

What are the issues that concern us average internet users?

A. ISPs have an unfair policy that IF a user sends one- yes, just one (1), unrequested email, their account can be summarily terminated, and the user is assumed guilty without even notice.

B. ISPs and Telcos are planning to impliment a multi-tiered internet service that puts the majority of us at the bottom, where the service will be very poor (slow). Only the wealthy will be able to afford decent internet service.

C. Only by banding together as a unified association of internet users and consumers, can we protect our basic rights to the use of the internet.

D. Only as a unified group, can we overcome the onslaught of both the various levels of governments and the ISP/Telcos. Government wishes to limit our internet privacy while taxing the net and ISPs/Telcos wish to limit our access in order to charge more.
