Aurora The Potawatomi Indians held this territory until it was settled in 1834 by Joeseph McCarty of Elmira, New York. Power was harnessed for mills by the river and a thriving railroad station moved in. The large performing arts center is home to many different acts and shows. There is a historical village area and restored homes to see. With a black smith shop and school house, there is a quant village setting.

A petting barn, with horse rides and other animal shows entertain all. Railroads and other historic areas can be seen on trips to parts of the town.
