Interesting facts about the Crystal River area
Crystal River is situated along Hwy US 19, with the Crystal River
being on the West side US 19 and the Gulf Of Mexico being 10 miles West
of US 19. The city has a beautiful park, Hunter Springs, that is on the
Crystal River at a fresh water springs. On the gulf is Fort Island Beach,
a beautiful man-made beach of first class quality, with bathroom facilities,
and covered picnic tables.
There are a total of 7... yes, seven, rivers near the city
of Crystal River. It is a fisherman's haven, as well as excellent boating
area, with several marinas for small to large water craft. There are two
golf courses in the immediate area, and several more further out.
